A Summer Art Camp for Students - Ages 9 to 14
Space is limited per class.

Fridays: July 15, 22, 29

10:00am to 3:00pm

10am-12pm: Morning class
12pm-1pm: Students must bring their own lunch
1pm-3pm: Afternoon class

Friday, July 15

Wilderness Wildlife
We will discuss wildlife seen around the Pruyn House and paint animal ornaments.

Art Instructor: Mary Smith, Wildlife Rehabilitation

Creating Artists' Books
We will fold paper to create up to four different amazing styles of artists' books and begin to draw, paint and collage inside them.

Friday, July 22

Vanishing Lines
Drawing Pruyn House buildings in 1 or 2 point perspective using watercolors, pencils and markers.

Not Just "Fasten-ating"
There are stories behind every button. We will design and create some beautiful buttons together.

Friday, July 29

Medicine, Food and Beauty in the Garden
We will create a tussie mussie and make some tea to enjoy. We will then learn about and draw plants found in the garden.

Take a Step Back in Time
Enjoy the artistry from all five classes at an afternoon tea party.
