2025 Member Meeting & Demo
March demo this year is March 11 at 7 o’clock on Zoom
Maggie Demarco is a resident of Naples, Florida and Narragansett, Rhode Island. She has studied with many well-known artists locally and abroad. She started painting landscapes and still lifes before transitioning to abstract. Her goal is to make paintings that excite the soul and bring joy and serenity to the viewer.

Caitlin presented a LIVE nature art demonstration with colored paper and pencils at St. Matthew's Church. She is an art director, animator/illustrator, and is passionate about educating and sharing her artistic knowledge with everyone.

Marion Reynolds received a BA in studio art from Middlebury College, and an MFA in painting from Queens College CUNY. She also studied at the Center for Art Safety in NYC. She has taught art for 25 years at McGuffey Art Center in Charlottesville Virginia, The Douglass Street Artspace in Brooklyn, NY, and at The Art Center of the Capital Region in Troy NY.

Ed Ticson is a lecturer in creative arts at Siena College and will present an Art History Talk about Women Artists in Paris, 1850-1900 at St. Matthew's Church in Latham.
We will also award the Student Scholarships.

Thank you Tony Conner for walking us through a two day watercolor workshop and teaching us some cool snow scene techniques via Zoom.

Tuesday Nov. 10, 2020: Tom Myott welcomed us into his studio for a demonstration of his painting style and practices. He works quickly with a sketch, then blocks of color with acrylic paint, then shading and ending with his trademark strategic placement of dots and dashes. Amazing work.










Oct. 6, 2020: Takeyce Walter provided an online demo in oil of an Adirondack water scene at our General Meeting. Takeyce is an accomplished artist in both oil and pastel. View the finished piece here.



Sept. 8, 2020: Tony Conner provided an online watercolor demo at out General Meeting. Tony is a master of watercolor landscapes.



February 2020: Terry Teitlebaum demonstrated painting abstracts in oils on panel.
