Virtual Art Show

Information and Entry Form

This exciting annual art show is usually held at the historic Pruyn House located at
207 Old Niskayuna Road, Latham, NY 12110. The show will be virtual this year.

This will be a judged show with cash awards for:

Best of Show

1st Place

2nd Place

3rd Place

There will be Honorable Mentions as well.

We are excited to have Colleen Connolly judge the artwork in this show. Colleen worked as an art teacher for 37 years in the Stillwater Central School District and has worked as an art instructor for the Hudson Valley Community Education program and at the Albany Jewish Community Center. She enjoys working in acrylics and pastels.

Important Dates and Information
Deadline for submissions: Thursday, March 26, 2021 by 11:59pm.

Online exhibit: All entries will be displayed online from April 1, 2021 to May 31, 2021.
Winners to be announced: Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at the General Board Meeting (zoom)

Here are the General Entry Rules:

• Each Colonie Art League member may enter one (1) original two-dimensional piece completed within the last three years.

• Only original artwork is accepted.

• The entry fee is $10 payable via check or PayPal (see Step One below).

• Pictures of the artwork must be uploaded below (see Step Two below). between Thursday, March 4 and Thursday, March 26. The file must not exceed 5 MB in size and if possible, should not include a mat or frame. Please click here for Tips for Taking Good Photos of Artwork for Virtual Show Submissions.

• Artwork submitted may be priced for sale (see Step Three below). Interested buyers MUST contact the artist directly when the show goes LIVE.

• Reminder: You MUST be a standing Colonie Art League member to participate.

NOTE: The exhibit committee reserves the right to reject any entry that does not meet specifications or that the committee deems to have unsuitable subject matter.
