Albany Tulip Festival,  Fine Arts Show

The Southern Saratoga YMCA  in Clifton Park is collecting art for the month of February to display in their art gallery.  February’s theme is “Love”.  We will have a light reception on Monday, February 13th from 6-7pm. 


If you would like to submit your art work please bring it to me between February 1st and February 12th.   There is no fee.

MEDIA AND SIZE REQUIREMENTS: Photography/Digital Media or Original Art: paintings, drawings, mixed media, collage, graphics, prints or fiber art. No reproductions. Must be framed.

We will not accept pieces in multiple parts. Art should not project more than 3” from the wall. ALL WORK MUST BE WIRED TO BE HUNG AND SHOULD BE NO LARGER THAN 28” X 36” INCLUDING FRAME. NO SAW-TOOTH HANGERS. NO EASEL BACKS.




Strawberry Fest and Art Show 2012

Upper Union Street, Schenectady, NY


Please join us to celebrate Spring, Strawberries, and Sunshine (hopefully) on Upper Union Street on Father’s Day Weekend.  Live music, gourmet food vendors, artists of all media, pony rides, and children’s activities will highlight this annual family event.  The hours are 10:00 am to 3:00 pm and we expect 3,000 visitors.  Please complete the attached application and return with a check to Upper Union BID by June 1st.   I look forward to working with you.  Please call if you have any questions or concerns. ART DISPLAY AND SALES AT THE MADISON THEATER
 
The Madison Theater, through the Beautify Upper Madison Avenue Project (BUMP), has invited Colonie Art League members to display their art in the theater’s street-front display widows.  The theater is located near S. Main Ave., the Café Madison, The Point Restaurant, Trustco Bank, Price Chopper, and other high-traffic businesses.  The Pine Hills neighborhood has a population equal to that of the City of Watervliet.

There is no entry fee or other cost except for a 10 percent commission to the theater for art sold while on display.  There is currently art in the windows, so please check it out. Contact Lorenz M. Worden at lorenzworden@verizon.net, 489-0866.
