"Special" workshops are presented to CAL members and other art groups and organizations by [volunteer] members in order to keep the idea of our founder's alive:

to further the advancement of visual arts,

enrich the cultural life of our region,

encourage the appreciation of art in the community, and
-
provide educational programs for artists,
Kris contacts artists for workshops throughout the year.
There
are many CAL members who volunteer [put in a lot of effort and time] to
produce informative and educational events for ALL members.
